A Certified Chartered Accountant and Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, Ms. Singh has operated in the fields of Auditing, Accounting and Finance for over thirty years.
Whilst in the position of Financial Controller at Caribbean Steel Mills Ltd., Ms. Singh functioned in the capacity of Lead Quality Auditor. Simultaneously, she championed the element of Measurement and Economics of Quality.
Ms. Singh has facilitated the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor refresher program at the Engineering Institute, UWI and several ASQ/ Quality related courses at Caribbean Institute for Quality Ltd. (CIQ) She has conducted audits for companies then preparing for and registered to ISO 9001, including Gulf Shipping, Label House Group, Marketing and Distribution Ltd, TRACMAC Engineering Ltd, College of Legal Studies, Neal & Massy Automotive Ltd., NESC and Guyana Power and Light. She has been involved in Business Process Reengineering and Design with various companies including the Ministry of Finance (Trinidad and Tobago). She led the Integrated Management Systems implementation at CIQ which incorporates international standards for Quality, Environment, Health and Safety.
As the Chief Financial Officer of TOSL Engineering Limited, Ms. Singh utilized PMP principles to lead the implementation of SAP Business One - software integration and upgrade. She also successfully restructured the Finance Division to allow seamless critical support for the Engineering Divisions.
Ms. Singh holds fellowship status with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) since 2003, is a member of ICATT since 1997 and of the American Society for Quality since 1996. An RABQSA Certified ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor, attained PMP certification in November 2006, FSCP designation in March 2019, AMTC in September 2020 and FMS in 2021.
Since 2010 Ms. Singh has focused her efforts on Financial Advisory. She researches the market and identifies viable investment instruments and has been working with corporate and individual clients to develop tailored programs for their specific needs including employee welfare support. Her dream to contribute to the development of future generations, has seen her partner with the education fraternity helping stakeholders with education funding and career planning whilst ensuring that budgets are in place for life goals like retirement, legacy and wealth management. Ms. Singh has demonstrated a strong commitment to the eradication of poverty and proudly stands as a member of the President’s strike team – Delta Force. She is an ardent supporter of the MDRT Foundation for charity, is currently the Chief Executive Officer at GMS Associates International Limited and also holds the position of Unit Manager at Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited.
