At Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited, Ms. Baksh has received many prestigious awards in both the company and TTAIFA ( Trinidad and Tobago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors). Awards that take years of experience to achieve, has been done within the first year of her time in the business. Guardian Life Awards 2019 : War of Poverty Calvary of Guardians, President Club, Activity Club, TTAIFA Awards 2019 : Diamond Seal Award and Centurion. More than 100 lives in 2019 covered and over 50 Million dollars in Life Insurance covering our community. She has qualified for MDRT ( Million Dollar Round Table) - the premium group for Financial Advisors around the world.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and minor degree in Human Resource Management from the Australian Institute of Business. Ms. Baksh has managerial experience in the field of both Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Human Resource Management. She has held the roles of Accounts Supervisor prior to Marketing Manager at SITAL College of Tertiary Education Limited (SITAL College) for over 8 years.
Currently she is the General Manager of GMS Associates International Limited and a Sales Advisor for Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited in Gail Singh’s Unit at Ramlal Basdeo Branch. She operates from her office at Pasea.
Her experience and qualifications has led to outstanding skills in Operations, Organisation and Leadership having been the captain to various project management campaigns. She is currently pursuing Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP) and intends to further specialise with an MBA in Entrepreneurship.
Ms. Baksh is a member of NGOs’ geared towards animal care and poverty aid. Such as ISGC ( Instruments of Sustenance for God Creations) as a Director, caring for homeless animals and a member of ROU (Revival Of the Ummah), aiding homeless people: clothing, feeding and housing projects for poverty victims.
She participates in community development projects in areas of need. Such as school development drives, food drives to the less fortunate, school and religious fundraisers and orphanage enhancement drives.
She is a proud mother of one, he has been the reason and drive for the greater good and success of our community.
These unfolding career paths paved her passion for young adults career professional development by mentoring and student guidance counseling. She is a strong believer in investing in education and total individual development.
Her strong belief in education and drive to securing those in need has merged seamlessly with her goal for contributing to saving lives and the eradication of poverty; by providing financial solutions in guiding families and younger individuals to better secure themselves from existing unforeseen health risks and accidents. Creating a reserve through effective budgeting and planning increases security for a better future for all. Additionally, her personal experiences where Insurance plans have saved important people in her life has been her testimony for joining Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited.
She works closely with her mentor, Ms. Gail Singh: A Unit Manager at Guardian Life , the MDRT Zone Chair for Trinidad and Tobago 2019-2021 and the CEO for GMS Associates International Limited who, is a qualified senior financial advisor having global insurance and financial knowledge. Ms. Baksh is more than able to provide quality services to her clients.
